Founder and owner of Lash Realty Group, and a Realtor® for more than a decade, Scott Lash comes from a long line of settlers in the mid-coast Maine area, creating strong bonds that tie him to both the unique and beautiful properties of the region and to the hearty, welcoming community that defines it.  In fact, the agency’s logo of the five-masted schooner was originally drawn by Scott’s grandfather, Winfield Lash, inspired by the ships once built in Waldoboro.

Educated at the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Economics, Scott is highly knowledgeable about the real estate market and works hard to meet the needs of his clients; in his words, “I chose this area for my own home and think one of this area’s charms is that it offers a really broad array of property types. And that allows me to help people find the home that is the best fit for their family.”

Scott has a reputation for caring about everyone he works with and doing the best to get them what they want.  According to Scott, Lash Realty Group represents “honesty, integrity, and a personal touch. It may not be the biggest but it will always serve you!”  And service is No. 1 to all Lash realtors. Scott is a seasoned professional who especially enjoys “meeting people and seeing that excitement when they buy or sell their home.”

Community Interests

Passionate about this community, Scott has served as Chair of the MSAD #40 School Board, and as a member of the Waldoboro Comprehensive Plan Committee, as well as the Lincoln 9-1-1 Advisory Board. He also has been the Co-Chair of the Waldoboro Public Library Building Campaign and serves on the State of Maine Board of Occupational Safety and Health, and Lincoln County board of Realtors®.

Scott was recognized by the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce for his work and was the Lincoln County Board of Realtor’s® 2015 Realtor® of the Year.

Scott is a paramedic, a downhill skier, a running enthusiast, and a community activist.  While studying at UMF Scott was inspired to establish the first-ever emergency medical response service on campus. Since then, community health has been a primary focus for Scott. He visited Nicaragua with a medical missionary team to provide aid to the native population and continues to serve Mid-Coast residents as a critical care paramedic.
